The belly dance community lost a friend and beautiful dancer late Tuesday night. Kaihea, a DC-area belly dancer and mainstay of the Burning Man community, battled ovarian cancer for two years, through which she kept dancing.

The funeral will be held on Saturday from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home in Silver Spring.

Her family would like to encourage well-wishers to make donations to the American Cancer Society.
