I hope everyone had a nice break, and is ready to start dancing again. I took a Beginner I brush-up workshop with Michele, and was surprised at how tired I was at the end. A semester of weekly practice improved my conditioning more than I realized. My arms got so tired and I had to go home and take a nap afterward! So, I’m very happy that classes began last night and I can get back to regular dancing.
I’m not sure what to call this blog segment anymore because I graduated from Beginner I. (Yay!) I’m movin’ on up… to Beginner I / Beginner II Technique with Allyson, who you’ll get to know more through this blog this semester. There were several other graduates from Melissa’s BI in my class, and also a lot of new faces, some totally new to Sahara Dance! I’m looking forward to getting to know my classmates better this semester. It already looks like a good group. We’re talking about having a funny hipscarf day, to show off the strange/unusual hipscarves in our collections!
