Sahara Dance is pleased to welcome Bellydance Superstar Lauren Boldt to DC for a very special Sunday workshop:

License to Zill

Lauren is not only a world-touring dancer with the Belly Dance Superstars, but she is also a percussionist with a degree from Berklee College of Music. Who best to teach you how to play finger cymbals (zills, sagat) while dancing, than a professional who has mastered both?!

Master basic concepts of rhythmic theory, creating clear and articulate tones on your zills, and achieve contrasting body movements while carrying steady zill patterns. ‘Licensed to Zill’ is appropriate for dancers completely new to zills or more experienced zillers that want to reinforce a proper foundation for their zill playing and dancing.
