Stretch & Flow (6-week Series)

Practice weekly mind-body rejuvenation through dance! Class will consist of long stretches of flow-oriented dance sequences directed with mindfulness practices. Designed to help dancers relax, replenish and connect to a sense of well being in our bodies. Emphasis is on enjoying movement and infusing your dance with elegance and sensual expression. Play with ideas for incorporating relaxation, fluidity and extension into simple combinations. We’ll slow down our dancing to strengthen our connection with the movement and music, as well as our bodies, breath and intention. Deepen foundational movements and add dimension to your repertoire. All levels welcome!

Please register to reserve your spot in the class.Miss a class? No problem! Make up class in one of our other classes within the same 6-week session. You are welcome to do make ups anytime within the same 6-week session, in advance of, or after, a missed class.

Classes are offered through Zoom. We will email registered participants prior to the start of class with instructions on how to log in. Registration will remain open up until 30 minutes prior to the class start time, or as spaces remain available. All class times are Eastern Standard Time zone. PLEASE NOTE: registration confirmation and Zoom link will be sent approximately one hour prior to class.

For the live-streaming class series we ask all participants to turn on their videos to help create community and best pace the class. If you have technical constraints or prefer to participate without video, just let the teacher know. We want everyone to have a supportive and uplifting class experience.

The 6-week class series is offered on a sliding scale, with a minimum registration of $60 and a suggested registration of $90 – $120. Your class registration secures your spot in 6 classes for 6 weeks. For those who are able, we appreciate your generous contributions to keep our classes available. Your support helps ensure the continuity of our community dancing together. We are grateful for your generosity and care for our community. Thank you.
