Multi-Level Drills & Combinations Intro
This course is from our Sahara Dance at Home series offered via zoom in 2022. Join Rachel Kay Brookmire for a series of 11 hour-long classes.
Enjoy a class full of shimmies, drills, combinations, traveling steps and fun. Keep a full range of dance movement vocabulary freshly tuned in your body; each class will briefly review the curriculum from Beginner 1/2, Beginner 3, and Intermediate 1 by week. Begin class with a comprehensive warm up to build core strength and flexibility. Emphasis is on quality movement execution, musical interpretation, alignment, cultural context, and whole-body awareness. Practice improving a full movement repertoire for belly dance. Modifications will be offered to challenge advanced dancers and keep class accessible for beginner dancers.
You can work through the classes in order or pick and choose and repeat the classes in any order you prefer.
