Nicolette will be teaching a condensed 12-week Beginner I class on Wednesdays at 8:00 pm, starting February 8th. Registration is now open!
The condensed class combines both of the 8-week Beginner I curricula (Zeina & Aziza) into one 12-week session. The full version of the Sahara Dance Beginner I curriculum is 16 weeks, spanning two 8-week sessions.
Register for Wednesday, 8:00pm Beginner I Class with Nicolette
We recommend all new belly dancers take Beginner I for at least two full sessions (24 – 32 weeks). In the first round dancers are exposed to the movements and the second round dancers are able to more fully integrate the movements with attention to alignment and musicality.
I asked Nicolette her favorite song and favorite thing about teaching belly dance:
Nicolette: Favorite song (currently): Zay Asal by Tony Mouzayek since it was used for the performance group I taught last session. My favorite thing about teaching belly dance is interacting with dancers from various dance backgrounds and sharing the joy of dance with this expressive art dance form.

And, if your brand new to belly dance but not sure you want to register for a full class, join the Intro to Belly Dance Workshop on February 18th.
