Shabnam has been dancing and performing at Sahara Dance for over eight years and was in musical theatre and show choir for nearly as many years before that, doing her own stage makeup the whole time. Her makeup knowledge is a culmination of experimentation throughout her time as a performer, collecting tips and tricks from friends (and YouTube tutorials), and absorbing professional knowledge from her mom who was a makeup artist for over twelve years at high-end stores like Saks Fifth Avenue.
