Get ready to experience the energy, attitude, and rhythm of Modern Egyptian Shaabi Dance! This workshop explores the vibrant mix between oriental & street style of Egypt, combining powerful movements, playful expressions, rhythmic footwork, and authentic Shaabi flavor.

Participants will learn a fun and energetic choreography inspired by contemporary Egyptian Shaabi, while developing musicality, body isolations, hip movements, accents, and performance quality.

In-Person: Your In-Person workshop registration secures your physical spot in the studio, as well as access to the class online. Workshops are held at our Sahara Dance studio in Tenley: 4433 Wisconsin Ave, NW, Washington DC. You may attend the workshop live, in-person, or live-streaming, online. Registered students have access to video recordings of each class for 30 days following the workshop.
