A dancer’s hands and arms can add elegant beauty and playful expression to a performance. In this workshop we’ll use a variety of exercises, drills, and combinations to understand the anatomy of our arms and explore how to improve control and fluidity in our arm and hand movements when we dance.

A little belly dance experience is recommended but all levels are welcome!

This is part of a dance anatomy miniseries along with the Happy Hips workshop on March 14.

Description

In-Person: Your In-Person workshop registration secures your physical spot in the studio, as well as access to the class online. Workshops are held at our Sahara Dance studio in Tenley: 4433 Wisconsin Ave, NW, Washington DC. You may attend the workshop live, in-person, or live-streaming, online. Registered students have access to video recordings of each class for 30 days following the workshop.
