It’s time! I’m delighted to be back on the schedule teaching my first workshops and classes in the studio since maternity leave. I’d love to get catch up with dance friends, meet new dancers, stretch and start our shimmies together for 2023!

To refresh all the moves, I’m really looking forward to the Brush Up Series workshops this Saturday and Sunday, January 7 & 8. The Brush Up Series is a long-standing tradition at the start of the year. We’ll revisit as many movements as we can in the curriculum, at each level. Let’s quickly refresh dance vocabulary by enjoying simple combos and drills, helping our bodies to remember a full range of repertoire.
It’ll be fun! Whether you’re looking to dust off your moves, try out the Sahara Dance curriculum, figure our level placement, or just have fun dancing for an hour or two, these workshops will help.
I remember taking these workshops with my teacher, Autumn Leah Ward, many moons ago. Some of you may have been there! It was always a helpful and invigorating way to start the dance year fresh, so we’re bringing it back. It’s also a great way to do an self-assessment for level placement, or ask questions and get help with placement.
